Does the AI write code?
No. It proposes typed change-sets drawn only from a fixed catalogue of operations - coverages, rating rows and formulas, underwriting rules, structural and workflow edits. You review a before-and-after and approve; nothing free-form is ever executed.
What happens to policies already in force?
They stay on the exact product version they were bound under. When a structural change would affect a product that already has issued policies, Openkoda auto-clones a new version, so existing business is never disrupted.
Can business users do this without developers?
Yes - that's the point. Product managers and underwriters describe the change; the AI drafts it; a human approves. Developers extend the platform only when you want them to.
