What a credit buys

  • 1 credit - a quick answer. Ask your data a question, explain a report, get an underwriting second opinion, or run one AI step in a workflow.
  • 2 credits - a read or a draft. Read one uploaded document, or draft something for you: an email or Word template, a claim letter, a policy wording, a form or a dashboard.

FAQ

Pricing questions

What do the three plans cost?
Business is $2,000 per month and Enterprise $4,000 per month, both on an annual contract. On-Premise is a custom contract - tell us your environment and we'll scope it. No plan carries per-seat, per-policy or percentage-of-premium fees.
What can change the price?
Only two things: the resources your deployment consumes, and the number of Openkoda instances you run. Neither is a surprise - both are scoped with you before they apply. What does not change the price is how many people log in, how many policies you write, or how much premium you take, so growing your book never triggers a bill you did not agree to.
What's the difference between Business and Enterprise?
Business is the whole platform for a single organization. Enterprise adds multi-organization support with multi-tenancy, single sign-on, client and broker portals on your own custom domain, per-form submission APIs, built-in Stripe payments and Gmail or Office 365 email, custom integrations built for your stack, and the MCP server. Both plans come with scalable, high-availability Managed Cloud and SLA-backed support, and both include the five complimentary professional-services days.
Can we run Openkoda in our own environment?
Yes - that's the On-Premise plan. We deploy the platform inside your own infrastructure and region, so data residency and the upgrade cadence stay under your control, on a contract scoped to your operation.
Is there a free trial?
There's no free plan, but there is a no-commitment way in: a live demo of the platform with your use case, then a free proof-of-concept scoping with a ballpark estimate before you sign anything.
Do I need developers to use it?
No. Products, pricing, rules, workflows, forms and documents are all configured by business users, with AI assistance. Developers can extend the platform whenever you want them to.
Do I own my data?
Always. Your configuration and data are yours to export and keep, with no vendor lock-in.
How is AI priced?
AI runs on Openkoda AI, a monthly subscription available on any plan. Plans start at $500/month (1,000 credits); Growth is $1,000/month (3,000 credits) and Scale $2,000/month (10,000 credits), with extra credits billed per use. Every action spends credits: 1 for a quick answer (a report query, explanation, copilot review or workflow AI step), 2 for a document read or an AI draft (templates, letters, forms, dashboards), 10 for an AI Product Builder change.
What support comes with each plan?
Business and Enterprise both include SLA-backed support from the Openkoda team - a committed response for production systems - on scalable, high-availability Managed Cloud. On-Premise support and service levels are scoped in your contract.
Is customization included?
The first five days of the configuration analysis are included on every plan, and in them we model your products, pricing, rules and workflows with you. Five days is a head start, not a full implementation - most go-lives take longer, and the work beyond the complimentary days is scoped with you and billed on a time and material basis, as is any advanced platform customization.
Can we start on Business and move up later?
Yes. Your configuration and data carry over, so moving from Business to Enterprise or On-Premise is a change of plan, not a rebuild.
