Openkoda is a multi-tenant platform we host, run and upgrade - so there is no infrastructure for your team to operate and nothing proprietary to learn. AI is built in throughout, through the AI Product Builder, Reporting AI and an MCP server for AI assistants, and everything the platform does is available over its REST API. Where policy or regulation requires it, the same platform deploys on-premise in your own environment.

Can we run it in our own environment?
Yes. On-Premise deploys the platform in your own environment and region; Business and Enterprise run on Openkoda Managed Cloud - your choice.
Where does our data live?
In your own instance. Every organization's data is strictly isolated, and an On-Premise deployment keeps it in your own environment and region for residency and compliance.
Who controls upgrades?
On-Premise, you control the upgrade cadence. On Managed Cloud we run secure, scalable hosting and apply upgrades for you, so you need no in-house ops team.
Is it standards-aligned?
The transactional data model is ACORD-aligned, and the platform produces carrier-ready premium and claims bordereaux (Excel/CSV) for delegated-authority reporting.
Do we need a technical team to run it?
No. We operate the platform, the database and the upgrades for you on Managed Cloud, and On-Premise deployments are installed and supported by our team. There is no proprietary language to learn and no niche skills to hire for.
How is access controlled and audited?
Fine-grained, role-based access controls what each user can do, and a complete audit trail records every action - attributed and timestamped - for governance and compliance.
Does it have an API for integration?
Yes. Openkoda is API-first: REST endpoints, a submission API on every form, and webhooks, plus out-of-the-box connections for payments, email, data enrichment and AI.
How is it licensed, and do we own our configuration?
Openkoda is licensed as a subscription - Business or Enterprise on a flat annual contract, and On-Premise on a custom contract. Your products, configuration and data are yours throughout, and export cleanly at any time.
